Chat with foreigners
This is the main LapoHub activity. The working chat stays on the registration platform. This page explains how to reach it and how to take part safely.
What you can talk about
- Everyday life, study, food, music, and travel.
- Language practice in Swahili, Luganda, English, and other languages you actually speak.
- Culture, with patience for different habits and time zones.
Safety. Do not share passwords, wallet details, or identification documents. LapoHub will not ask you to continue a chat on a private phone number. This page is not a messaging app.
Be clear
Short sentences are easier across languages.
Be patient
People reply at different hours.
Be finished
Say goodbye when you leave the conversation.
